Beverly Hills Cop (1984)
from Sequelcast 2 and Friends Hosted by Mat Bradley-Tschirgi
Hosts Mat Bradley-Tschirgi and Jersey Jason discuss Beverly Hills Cop. Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) tracks down a friend's killer from Detroit to Beverly Hills. Along the way, he meets up with former flame turned art dealer Jenny Summer (Lisa Eilbacher) who helps him crack the case. A skillful blend of comedy and action, Beverly Hills Cop is one for the ages. Eddie Murphy's vibrant performance steals every scene he's in, although solid supporting turns from Judge Reinhold and Josh Ashton as a pair of rival bumbling L.A. cops are notable for their chemistry.
