Beware of financial gurus

There are investors and then there are investors. The likes of Warren Buffet and Charlie Munger are the cream of the crop. They broke the mold of what a financial guru is and what we should expect from one. They have a near perfect track record of integrity. I would be very careful when listening to anyone else. Between those two guys there's plenty of books and resources that can help you learn how they did it. As someone new to investing, educate yourself on the fundamentals. You can begin investing in great companies before you fully understand what you are doing, but that doesn't mean you shouldn't still strive to understand what you are doing. And ask questions! The best kept secrets are the ones you yourself learn and have confidence in! Invest first in yourself and your own self-esteem and confidence! Heck, invest in skills you want to learn that can help you make more money if you'd like. Confidence is something you develop in yourself! The Internet is a place of many things! The 99.9% of which are delusions.
