Beyond the Act

In this of "A Conversation on...", we delve into the heart of what it means to be a follower of Christ, as illuminated by the book of 1 John. Our sermon prep team unpacks the profound yet simple truth that our journey with God transcends mere actions; it's about embodying our identity as children of God in every facet of our lives. This discussion explores the dual themes of personal relationship with God and the tangible expression of that relationship through love towards others. We're challenged to consider not just what we do, but who we are becoming in Christ—highlighting the importance of motivations, daily practices, and the transformative power of living out our faith authentically. Join us as we reflect on the call to be, rather than just do, and how this perspective shifts our understanding of worship, service, and community engagement.
