Beyond the Buzzwords: Finding a Biological Dentist Who's the Real Deal

Here's something a lot of people don't realize: Calling yourself a biological dentist doesn't necessarily make you one.In this episode of Your Mouth Matters, Dr. T sits down with Kim Blaise, founder of OraBiologics, to talk about the gap between the marketing and the reality in biological dentistry right now.Holistic. Natural. Functional. Integrative. Biologic. Biological. These words are everywhere. They’re also unregulated. Anyone can call themselves a biological dentist. That doesn’t mean they’re actually doing biological dentistry, though. For someone navigating a complex health situation, landing in the wrong office can cost a lot more than just time and money.Kim came to this work through 20 years on the business side of dentistry, watching patients struggle to find their way to care that genuinely connected the dots between their mouth and their overall health. What she built with OraBiologics is something that the biological dentistry space has needed for a long time: a vetted, educated starting point for patients who are done guessing. This is a candid, practical conversation about what it actually takes to find a practitioner you can trust and why that search is harder than it should be.Learn more about... Dr. Taylor & Green City Dental: https://greencitydental.com Ora Biologics: https://orabiologics.com O2Dontics: https://o2dontics.com
