Beyond the Carousel of Medications and Mainstream Narratives isn't just about one person's healing journey, it's about a new integrative approach to treating "mental illness" beyond the standard of care that uses psychopharmacological interventions.Jupiter Leone spent 23 years on a psychiatric carousel of medications fordepression, anxiety, and ADHD. In addition, she experienced countlesspsychotherapy sessions to heal her low self-esteem, fears, and emotional highsand lows. When she began her holistic healing journey working with Dr. Lee,she was taking a benzodiazepine, a mood stabilizer, a stimulant, ketamine,marijuana, and psilocybin.In a few months, she was able to come off her medications, feelingphysically and mentally stronger than she had ever felt, and more stable andcalm than she envisioned possible.
