Beyond the Flannelgraph | Learning to Become an Asset From the Life of David pt. 1

Ask yourself, “How do I become an asset in advancing the kingdom, guarding my holiness, and pursuing the Lord?” We can look at David’s life and learn principles that push us towards repentance and dependency on the Lord. There were patterns in David’s life that didn't get dealt with and ultimately led him to turn away from the Lord. He needed to address those patterns that lead to sinful and destructive behavior.The problem is, we get too comfortable. We need to surround ourselves with men and women who love us enough to hold us accountable and speak truth in our lives.
