BFMD Episode 147 - Deadline Pays Dividends

After the Toronto Blue Jays made a big trade to acquire Jose Berrios from the Twins for Austin Martin and Simeon Woods Richardson they proceeded to sweep the Royals and take 3 of 4 against Cleveland.  The rotation owns and AL best 2.66 ERA since the All-Star break, and the bullpen is much improved. This Jays team means business!  The return to Toronto was emotional and players like George Springer have certainly enjoyed the Rogers Centre! Springer was named AL Player of the Week.  The Jays host Boston for a critical 4-game series this weekend, their final meeting against their rivals in the regular season. The Jays will send Manoah, Ray, Berrios, and Ryu to the bump in their attempt to gain ground in the AL East.
