Nelson tells stories about Bing Russell, Kurt Russell's dad, and how good of a person he was and the stuff that they did. Nelson talks about a potential team name for a Portland baseball team. Nelson reveals to Canzano his idea for a new college football playoff. "The Throwin Samoan" Jack Thompson joins the program to discuss Cam Ward being picked number one by the Tennessee Titans. Thompson is very confident in Washington State football going forward in the new Pac-12. Thompson says that the Cougars are in a position that they need to act like they are the biggest brand in the Pac-12.
