Die noodzaak werd al duidelijk in 2018, toen Aedifica haar nieuwe strategie formuleerde. De groep achtte de tijd rijp om zich te transformeren in een Europese speler die zich uitsluitend zou toeleggen op zorgvastgoed. Die omschakeling vormde de belangrijkste factor voor de implementatie van het nieuwe ERP-systeem.
