Unfortunately...Black History Month had to end *tears* This episode we discussed the events we attended during the month and explored their importance and the importance of Black History Month as a whole. We also tapped into why it's necessary for non-black people to also attend some of these events, and Jess (our non-BAME guest) spoke about her time at a BHM event held at the Southbank Centre- "Striking the Empire" with David Olusoga and Akala - where she was able to interview some black individuals about the importance of the event to them. We were joined by Gradi (@MiddleGround10) and, again, Jess (@DearReaderShow) and a few other surprise guests. And even though BHM has come to an end, we know each year will be as insightful and inspirational as this one was for us. Feel free to join in the conversation on our Twitter and Instagram.
