#BHN Assumptions based on one tweet | National's Pacifica problem | Chloe v Seymour on referendum

from #BHN Big Hairy News · host Big Hairy Network

We're going to pose the question why people make assumptions based on one interaction, one tweet, one interview which has become especially prevalent in interactions around Israel and Gaza. It would seem to us, that many commentators who are pro-Gaza condemn the actions of Hamas...but commentators who are pro-Israel seem to refuse the idea of admitting Israel has done any wrong. The National Party has a real issue with Pacifica representation with ZERO MPs from the Pacific Islands. This is the same National Party who claimed to be making a real effort to diversify their MPs but it seems the words fall well short of the actions. Chloe Swarbrick and David Seymour went head to head on the idea for a referendum on Treaty principles this morning on the AM Show. We'll take a look at it tonight ================================================ Help us by nominating #BHN for the people's choice award at https://www.nzpodcastawards.com/nominate.
