New Zealand is experiencing its highest peak in Covid-19 cases since December 2022. Last week, the ministry reported 6146 new cases of the virus and 19 further deaths. Anna Brooks joins us tonight to talk about where NZ is currently at. Education Minister Erica Stanford explains why teachers shouldn't worry about catching COVID and confirms that, while National thinks they have the best way forward for educational outcomes, Charter Schools will be able to ignore all those rules and do what they want. Finance Minister Nicola Willis has refused to rule out further changes to the public sector.
