The Reserve Bank has opted for boldness over caution as it delivered a 50-basis-point cut the official cash rate to 2.5 percent, and signalled further reductions. What does this mean for the economy? Craig Renney joins us LIVE at 9pm to explain everything.Hundreds of teenagers with a health condition or disability could be cut off from the Jobseeker benefit as part of the government's welfare changes, official data shows. The government is ending Jobseeker payments to 18- and 19-year-olds whose parents earn more than $65,000, saying it will encourage them to find work. The policy will also apply to young beneficiaries with a health condition or disability who have had to stop work for a period of time or reduce their hours.Thirty people have been arrested at a demonstration outside an aerospace summit in Christchurch. Reporters at the scene said about a dozen were chained together near the entrance to Te Pae Convention Centre.
