The big story this week is the unbelievable rains that landed on Henry County. 12-17” of rain fell on our county, stressing every piece of infrastructure in the area. Homes filled with water, culverts fell, roads washed out, many main arteries in the area were shut down, and as of the time of recording some citizens are still trapped in their neighborhoods because there is simply no access to their homes. We highlight personal stories of wet basements, downed power lines, roads closed due to trees splitting and property damage due to high winds. First responders have been deploying watercraft to rescue people from Knightstown to New Castle.A few weeks back the BHOL team had the 50 States Draft.
