Bible Doctrines: The Church

The Church is such a unique place. It's a place where believers happily admit that their life was full of sin, and they were all destined for an eternity in hell apart from God. Yet, Jesus the Christ, the Saviour of the world died for the sins mankind, providing a way of escape. Believers claim the promise that Jesus provided in His death, burial, and resurrection. However, believers are not made perfect after salvation. God is sanctifying His church, but we are not perfect like our Saviour. Yet God's Spirit provides Spiritual gifts for His church, to enable her to become the spotless bride that will be presented to Christ Jesus. Are you thankful for the church?
