Bible Fiber: Textures and Shades of the Prophetic Tapestry

from Bible Fiber · host Shelley Neese

Welcome. I am Shelley Neese, President of The Jerusalem Connection. This week we are launching a new series called Bible Fiber. Bible Fiber will be a weekly audiocast teaching on our regular Youtube channel where we have posted twice weekly for a decade. But we are also launching it as a podcast, available on all the major podcast directories. For the next year, I am challenging myself, along with any of you, to study one of the Bible’s twelve Minor Prophets each month. We will read them in the same order as presented in the Christian cannon: Hosea, Joel, Amos, Obadiah, Jonah, Micah, Nahum, Habakkuk, Zephaniah, Haggai, Zechariah, and Malachi. In the tradition of the Hebrew Bible, dating as far back as the Dead Sea Scrolls, all twelve prophetic anthologies makeup a single literary unit called the “Book of the Twelve.” That means to fully experience the consistency of their message and fullness of their unified declarations, we better get ready to cross-reference. Support the showConsider donating (one-time or recurring) to www.TheJerusalemConnection.us so we can continue to bring valuable content via podcasts free to the public. Bible Fiber and The Red Alert Report are available via YouTube and all major podcast platforms. The Jerusalem Connection also engages in additional educational and advocacy programs.
