Bible-Nomics 03: The Temple Economy

What does it mean when it says the gathering of brethren in the quote of Jesus, "For wherever two or three are gathered (drawn together as My followers) in (into) My name, there I AM in the midst of them" In God's design of His kingdom, the temple was the center of the culture. The construction was following the design expressly made known by God to His people. Yet it wasn't only a place of worship but one with a rich culture of brotherhood. The activities of ancient temple worship were designed as a hack to ensure an enduring economy among kin who were to devote their lives to being their brothers' keepers.
