Bible Study | Will you choose Jesus or the pigs?

They looked at the healed man.They looked at the dead pigs.And they asked Jesus to leave.That part is brutal.Because it reveals something ugly.They were more disturbed by the loss of their livestock thanthe restoration of a human life.Their economy mattered more than his freedom.Their business mattered more than his healing.Their comfort mattered more than his deliverance.They had made peace with a tormented man living in thetombs, but they could not make peace with the cost of Jesus setting him free.
