Bible Study || Worship - Part 2 - || Dr Shola Adeaga

from Jesus House UK Podcast · host Jesus House UK

Thank you for joining Jesus House, London - Bible Study Session with Pastor Dr Shola Adeaga. Today, he continues his teaching on his previously taught subject of worship. Heightening that the worship of God is predicated on the knowledge of HIM, we cannot worship God appropriately if we don't know HIM (John 4:21, Romans 12:1). The preacher further talks on the lifestyle of worship through the act of praising and adoring our Father in heaven, in the context of two most important expressions of worship, (i.e. an act of obedience and total submission to the will of God as seen in Jesus's death on the cross - Genesis 22:1-6 and 1 Samuel 15:12). Most importantly, obedience is central to Christians lifestyle of worship. In conclusion, humility and the expression of that which is obedience is quite critical to our lifestyle of worship. As you listen, it is believed this bible study session will greatly bless and enlighten you on Jesus's direction on fasting and prayer.
