Biblical interpretations: Literal Jonah
from Live with Preach EZ Hosted by Preach EZ
Our favorite Radio Reverend is back with “Biblical interpretations” Every major religion has sacred text that are the foundation of their faith. And each has a set understanding of how to interpret the text. However Christians often choose a single interpretation for the entire Bible, when the Bible is a collection of different types of books that require different interpretations. Every interpretation is needed to understand the Bible completely. Literal interpretations are often questioned in the modern day because they conflict with modern science but their role in our faith is no less important. A literal reading of Jonah still reveals the character of God as relational, powerful, and merciful even if the actions of God have questionable credibility in the face of science. #christian #jesuschrist #spirituality #preachez #preaching #biblestudy #interpreting #jonahandthewhale
