Big, Beautiful Bill now in Senate; House leaders say bill will save $10 billion in medicaid (Ep 440)

Just the Truth As  Congress gets back to work after the Memorial Day weekend holiday….it appears President Trump’s “big, beautiful bill” has a tough time ahead in the US Senate as Sen Ron Johnson says there are enough Republicans who oppose the bill (as the house passed it) to stop it? Meanwhile… House Republicans are praising the bill they sent over to their Senate colleagues claiming they have  tighten Medicaid rules to stop scams that will save taxpayers more than $10 billion. We have some new analysis of what was included in the house bill. ‘60 Minutes’ anchor Scott Pelley is being ripped for ‘angry, unhinged’ commencement speech criticizing Trump at Wake Forest University Graduation.
