This years’ Big Dig ends this weekend,18 and 19 July, which is also the national Festival of Archaeology to encourage more people to dig into the past. People are invited to attend at High Meadow between 11am and 4pm on Saturday and Sunday to see Liss Archeology at work. Anne Brooks from Liss Archeology and Petersfield Area Historical Society, speaks to Mike Waddington about their latest finds at High Meadow and in a garden on Borough Hill. Christabel Thomas explains why she volunteers on the Information Stand here and travels from the New Forest to do so.
