With a full orchestra, and a grand and colorful stage, the arena was set for announcements at this year's D23 presentation and spectacle. Josh D' Amaro led this event, noting from the start that "nothing was blue sky" and that everything shared was in development. The theme was Horizons and the opening number underscored not only the legendary Epcot attraction, but what was ahead for The Walt Disney Company.
