Big Picture Prophesy - Audio
from Grace Family Fellowship Hosted by Dr. Roger Smith
This sermon focuses on Daniel's vision of the four beasts, interpreting it as a prophecy about the rise and fall of empires leading up to the time of Jesus. Dr. Smith emphasizes that the prophecy is not about the end of the world but about God's control over history and His plan for establishing His kingdom through Jesus. The four beasts represent the Babylonian, Medo-Persian, Greek, and Roman empires, each impacting the world and paving the way for Jesus’ arrival. Dr. Smith highlights the Roman Empire's persecution of Christians as part of this plan, ultimately leading to the spread of the Gospel. The sermon concludes by emphasizing the importance of understanding prophecy for guiding present faithfulness to God, urging listeners to be active in sharing the Gospel and living according to God's will, knowing His kingdom will prevail.
