Our first Aussies have had over 200 years of theft of their land to contend with. Last year the Lismore City Council made a nationally significant gesture of returning some of the Bundjalung Nation back to its owners. This year an ideologically driven rookie councilor tried to break that promise by proposing to stop the hand back but he didn't reckon with the strength of the Wijabul Wiabul mob. Here is the story.
