This sound of artist Anthony Ptak. Liner notes: Big Screens (2009) [8:20] This computational work concentrates on sound as a carrier of information. We listen to the world as a system of associative indices. The acoustics of this soundscape world are to be analyzed, synthetically generated phenomena in the form of 1000 sine wave partials offset by phase and frequency. Sound is a physical axis that occupies and transforms space. The differentiation of the wave adjacency is navigation. All sonic materials computed, recorded, and assembled by the composer. This may have cognitive speculative effects in the listener. This is a monaural version, A binaural stereo version exists for release at a later date. - A.J. Ptak
