Big Ten Preview with Illinois’ Coleman Hawkins & Ohio State’s Jamison Battle — HPP S3-E13

Rich Harris and Caleb Slaton preview the Big Ten Conference with Illinois forward Coleman Hawkins and Ohio State wing Jamison Battle.Last season, Coleman led the Illini in MPG, RPG, and APG, averaging 9.9 points, 6.3 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 1.1 steals, and 1.2 blocks per game, while shooting 44 percent from the floor.  Following the season, he was invited to the NBA Combine, but he ultimately decided to return for his senior season.  Before joining Ohio State, Jamison played two years at George Washington and then two years at Minnesota, and over that span, he was All-Rookie selection in 2020, All-A10 selection in 2021, All-Big Ten Honorable Mention in 2022, and All-Big Ten Academic selection in 2023.  He has averaged at least 12 PPG in each of his four collegiate seasons, averaging 14.4 points and 5.2 rebounds per game for his career.
