Big with Tom Hanks

This week on Reel Sisters Rewind, sisters Amanda Stephens and Missy Washam are stepping into the world of wishes, arcades, and oversized dreams with the 1988 classic Big. Starring Tom Hanks in his breakout role, this heartfelt comedy reminds us all what it’s like to grow up too fast - and why sometimes, being a kid at heart is the best thing of all. From Josh Baskin’s fateful encounter with the Zoltar machine to the unforgettable piano dance at FAO Schwarz, the sisters break down the film’s most iconic scenes, share behind-the-scenes trivia, and celebrate the magic that made Big one of the most beloved movies of the 80s. So make your wish, grab a giant floor piano, and join Amanda and Missy as they rewind a film that proves growing up is optional, but having fun is essential.
