Its arms were long and powerful, its body large but not overly bulky. Its face was unlike anything Robert had seen before… with a short snout and a disturbing, almost human-like structure twisted into something else entirely. When it shifted its gaze between the two men, the fear became overwhelming. His friend dropped his firearm. They ran. When they returned the next day, the cow was gone—completely removed from the area. No tracks. No sign of struggle. Just blood left behind as proof that something had been there.
