Der renommierte Bildungsforscher Klaus Zierer von der Universität Augsburg hat sich hinter den Vorschlag von Bundesbildungsministerin Prien gestellt, private Handynutzung an Schulen zu verbieten. "Absolut muss es weggesperrt werden. Das private Gerät, von dem wir hier sprechen, wenn es um ein Handyverbot geht, brauchen wir nicht für einen guten Unterricht", sagte Zierer.
