Saidina ‘Abdullah bin Abbas berkata: “Sesiapa membaca surah Al-Mulk sehingga menjadi amalan wiridnya, nescaya ia mendapat bantuan dan pertolongan daripada Allah SWT di dalam kuburnya. Bila azab hendak datang ke kepala, terdengar satu seruan: “Tidak boleh engkau datang ke pihak kepala ini kerana ada Surah Al-Mulk.” Daripada Abu Hurairah r.a meriwayatkan bahawa Rasulullah SAW bersabda yang bermaksud: “Al-Quran mengandungi satu surah terdiri daripada tiga puluh ayat yang akan mensyafaati pembacanya sehingga dia diampunkan iaitu Tabarakallazi biyadihil Mulk.” (Riwayat Abu Dawud, Ahmad, at-Tirmizi, Riyadh as-Salihin oleh Imam Ahmad)
