Bill Conway: Montessori Education, meaningful assessment and the importance of teacher identity.

from The Art of Teaching · host Mathew Green

Today it is my pleasure to introduce you to the brilliant Bill Conway. He is an educator and passionate innovator who is determined to reform schools and the way we teach our students. Bill has worked across education sectors including in public, private religious, non-denominational schools and international schools. It wasn’t until later on in his career that he found a way of teaching that fitted well with his philosophy - Montessori education. We had a wonderful wide-ranging discussion about educational practice, assessment and the importance of empowering and trusting the children.
