Bill Jack Interview 04 June 2020
from Book Talk with Claire Harris Hosted by Book Talk Radio Club
I'm talking to author and adventurer Bill Jack on Book Talk Radio Club. Bill and his wife, Penny, raised and raced sled dogs. In 1991, he finished the Iditarod Sled Dog Race and placed 20th in his rookie year. He always said that running the 1,049-mile Iditarod was the toughest thing he had ever done - that is, until he hiked the Appalachian Trail...at 70 years old! And then wrote a book about his experience! You can find out more at https://www.booktalkradio.info/bill-jack
