bill me

bill me Picking up the ticket shows there’s money to be made I swap the chaser with the chased you can’t manipulate what isn’t trying to impress you I signed in chalk on courtroom walls where Nature argues her own laws I’m the bookie for your invisible ballets Pay me in sameness, I’ll mint you a stay give me axioms, neat and tight I’ll mail you back a sealed “not quite”- In symphonies I pay Never mind real genius delay I’m caught in rivers that never change Mountains to deltas Lyrically “well duh” Sense is delivered in bills these days So bill me anyway In a room that determined my caste You said you’d give me the moon and the stars just had I asked but I couldn’t speak Legalese In a room that determined my release you said I'm wrong, and you gave me no peace I couldn’t comply with your police In symphonies I prayed Never mind real genius these days I’m caught in rivers that never change Mountains to deltas Lyrically with a “well duh” Sense is delivered in bills each way So bill me anyway You can’t manipulate what isn’t trying to impress you Pay me in sameness, I’ll mint you a stay (written 10/14/25)
