Hey! I'd love to hear your thoughts, send me a voice note.Jennifer Margulis, PhD, is in studio and had a great talk about her "Big Science Brain" mother (my words), the late Lynn Margulis. Lynn was an evolutionary biologist and microbiologist whose work on symbiosis and evolution made her the greatest contributor to ideas about evolution since Darwin. Earlier she also happened to be married to famed scientist Carl Sagan. A lot of intellectual firepower. The Margulis papers, all 317 linear feet of them, were saved from the Almeda fire and are now headed to the American Philosophical Society's Center for the History of Science located in Philadelphia, PA. (Founding Father BEN FRANKLIN's scientific papers are here, too) It's quite the big deal!
