Bill Seeks to Name Peaks After Norwood Climbers Who Perished in SW China

A bill in Congress, if passed, will result in the naming of two peaks in Southwest Colorado after Norwood-based climbers Christine Boskoff and Charlie Fowler. The two perished in 2006 while on a climbing trip in Southwest China, while attempting to climb Genyen Peak. The climbers were very accomplished, had climbed multiple peaks over 8000 meters, and they were well-respected both in and outside of the climbing community. (Mountain Madness File Photo)
