Bill Simpson

On Friday the 12th of May 1978, a fire was noted at a garage in Small Heath in Birmingham. When fire crews arrived and put out the fire, they discovered a gruesome scene. They found a man lay under a van and he had a gunshot to his face. This man was found to be Bill Simpson who owned the garage. This was a murder scene but the police could find no motive for anyone to murder this hard working family man. Bill's murder is still unsolved today.
