was the Billy Eilish concert, it was on March 26th, and it was an incredible concert. I love Billy Eilish so much, I think she puts on an incredible performance. It's just, my mind is always blown when I go see her. I went to her concert in 2019 for the When We All Fall Sleep Tour, and it was so good, it was at Marymore Park, so it was an outdoor venue, which I think was really fun, because I think most of her venues on that tour were indoors, and so it was cool to see her set, like, outdoors.
Like, I don't know, it was just weird to me, but it was very cool. And I love, love, love, love, love, her backgrounds, that she has for her concerts, she always has amazing graphics that she shows on the screens behind her, and so I wish I could show you a picture, but I can't. But if you have the opportunity, I recommend looking up her tour backgrounds and stuff, because they are very cool. Yeah, she had Duckworth open for her, and then she sang a whole bunch of good songs.
She sang, therefore I am. Yeah, so I love that song. That was the first song that Billy released in her new era that wasn't attached to the When We All Fall Sleep Where Do We Go album. I love that song, I love the music video for that song too.
She is basically just running around a mall, stealing, not stealing, because she obviously had permission to record and stuff, but she takes donuts from a donut vendor, and then she goes and gets fries and a milkshake, or a lemonade or whatever, and it's a very fun music video, and I like watching it. And you can hear in the video, so the way her stage was set out was that it was, a normal stage where it was the rectangle, and then she had a catwalk that extended out into the crowd, and so wearing me and my friends were standing was at the end of the catwalk, we were like, what, four or five rows away from barricade? And so when everyone got really bad was when Billy walked at the end of the catwalk, and we were freaking out because of how close she was, it was really cool. She was really close.
She's so pretty, okay, nevermind, I'm just gonna finger but it's fine, but yeah, she's hanging there for a minute. She also sang Lost Cots, which was another early song in that Happier Than Ever era. I love that music video too. It's basically just like her having a sleepover with her friends and then like dancing and eating chips and stuff, and it's so fun.
But yeah, here's Lost Cots. Yeah, that was kind of a short audio clip, so I apologize for that, but I just really wanted to like listen to that live, if that makes sense. Like it wasn't really focused on recording another one, but I did record a lot of, I didn't change my number, which is such a good song. I love that song, it's so like cool.
She has, her dogs are in it, like the first couple of seconds, or her dog's barking, and I think it's so fun. But yeah, here's a little bit of, I didn't change my number. Yeah, I love that song. Okay, so during the concert, Billy, so Billy has like a spoken word song on her album called Not My Responsibility.
And so while that was playing, there was like a part of the concert where she played that video that goes along with the song. And so she played that and while she was doing that, she went to a different stage, like she had two stages. Well, I wouldn't really call it a stage, but she went to like a different part of the venue. And then it was this kind of like cream thing that she got onto, it was like a platform that could be like raised up and like spin around.
So she like got access to like a whole different part of the stadium and like different, not stadium arena and like different fans and stuff. And so she did that, she sang a couple songs there. And then when she came back, she sang Getting Older. And I think that is one of my favorite songs off of her album.
I think it is so just adorable and cute and like mature and stuff. During the, when the song is playing, she had like home videos playing of like her and her brother, like as they were growing up. And it was the cutest thing ever. It was just like Baby Billy, like playing the piano or just stuff as a princess or whatever.
And it was the cutest thing. So here's a clip of Getting Older. Sing it. Things I want to sing joy.
Just give me a flog now. I love that song so much. It just re-dismiles my face. And I love that the crowd was singing it so loud.
And it was so good. I had a really, really, really hard time figuring out what to cut. So like, it literally wouldn't just be the whole song in the episode, but it was so good. I love that song.
And I loved hearing her singing it live. It was so cute. The next song that I want to talk about is the final song from Billy's concert. And it is the most iconic song, Happier Than Ever.
It was so incredibly amazing and spectacular to see performed live. So the song she sang before, Happier Than Ever, was Bad Guy, I believe. And at the very end, the last drumbeat of Bad Guy, Confetti Fell. And so as the Confetti was falling, she started singing Happier Than Ever.
And it was still falling during the slow part of the song. And it was just so magical. It was so cool. It was so cool.
I love it. Listening to that song that I was just such an experience. And I'm so grateful that I got to hear it live. I really want to hear it live again.
Yeah, it was just an incredible song. I can't even say anything else. So here's Happier Than Ever. I love that song.
I think it's so cool. I love listening to it. I love this slow part. And I love the transition into the fast part.
I love the whole song. I'm going to play the fast part now because I think it was really cool to hear live. So here's that. I love that song so much.
It's so good. It's such a good, like, get your emotions out. Like, you feel tired after singing it, but like in the best way possible, because you just like, let everything go. And I love it so much.
