Bills Camp & Initial Depth Chart Observations

from Talking Buffalo · host Blue Wire

On this episode of Talking Buffalo, Patrick Moran is joined by PK from the Buffalo Sports Collective to discuss observations from the Buffalo Bills second-to-last practice of training camp at St. John's Fisher in addition to thoughts on the team's initial released depth chart. The Bills hit the field for public viewing practice for the second last time on Wednesday and there's plenty of talking points from practice in addition to overall developing storylines. Among the topics discussed by the guys is James Cook having ball stability issues, Matt Milano progressing nicely, a very nice day for wide receiver KJ Hamler and Damar Hamlin looking like he could be ready to put a stranglehold on the starting free safety job for now. It wasn't all great though, as DaQuan Jones didn't practice again, this time with a groin injury after having what was disclosed as a veteran rest day earlier in the week. Is that a cause for concern? Also, Buffalo put out it's first depth chart of the summer and while it should be absolutely taken with a grain of salt, the guys discuss a few interesting tidbits from it, including Keon Coleman being on the second string and Will Clapp currently having the nod as the backup center to Connor McGovern. They also hit on a few things they're looking forward to seeing from Buffalo in the preseason opener Saturday versus Chicago in addition to Brandon Aiyuk having no interest in New England, one of the best trades not just in Buffalo but sports history happening 32 years to the day of this recording and much more. You can follow PK on Twitter @PK_BSC and check out the Buffalo Sports Collective podcast.♦♦♦♦♦Follow Patrick Moran/Talking Buffalo Podcast Substack: Patrick Moran’s SubstackTwitter:  @PatrickMoranTBFacebook: Talking Buffalo Podcast YouTube: Talking Buffalo Podcast YouTube Channel♦♦♦♦♦If you’re looking into setting up a golf practice/enjoyment station in your home, basement, garage or backyard — SimTurf is your golf oasis, featuring premium synthetic turf.
