But the writers love to defy expectations, so instead we got a lighthearted story about everyone in the town dealing with the truth of human existence, the body's inevitable decline, and the inescapable reality of death. HAPPY FALL EVERYONE. After we recapped, there's also some discussion of Peaky Blinders, Carnival Row, the Limetown TV show, and the 1997 horror movie Event Horizon.
