In just one film you’ve got vampire horror, a period drama, a celebration of music and culture in a way we’ve never seen a film do before, and, in case you missed that the first time, vampires! That are scary. We loved the effects, we adored the music, and we’re just gobsmacked by the acting talent, which includes Michael B. Jordan playing two roles and doing it so well that we kept forgetting that was what was happening.
