The original podcast post is here: https://pixelatedgeek.com/2025/11/binary-system-podcast-481-mayor-of-kingstown-and-star-trek-lower-decks/This week we're recapping episode 3 of the last season of Mayor of Kingstown, where pretty much everything is spiraling out of Mike's control. Rival gang members are murdering each other and setting their hangouts on fire, Kyle's falling under the influence of a dangerous inmate, Robert is a drunk time bomb ready to explode, and both Bunny's new friend and the new Warden are playing a dangerous game of "I'm the most powerful person here" and also "I really didn't take all the variables into account." But, y'know, that hot young rookie guard seems to have won Mike over by being nice to him, so hopefully she won't die. After that, Kathryn watched episode 6 of the final season of Star Trek: Lower Decks, which continues to be hilarious and freaking good-hearted. We also went off on a couple of tangents in this episode to rant about annoying AI recaps, and ads, and good god people, flogging a $400 gourmet lobster dinner delivery while people are trying to figure out how to feed their family do you really think this is the time and aaaarrrrgggh, why is Capitalism??This episode's outro is a clip from Millenia from Karl Casey @ White Bat.Follow along with the DragonFall Drawing Challenge on Instagram at FandragonAdams or Llyzabeth, or with the hashtag DragonFallDrawingChallenge2025.Looking for a present for that hard-to-shop-for person?
