(More or less. Minus some text-only episodes. And of course we had quite a few Welcome To Night Vale recap episodes before we started calling ourselves Binary System…look, it’s too complicated to get into, and we’d really rather celebrate and drink beer.)Believe it or not we really did have a plan for the 500th episode, but it was a plan to make a plan, if that makes sense. First we had to recap episode 14 of the last season of Beastars, and Elizabeth wanted to talk about her experiences with WonderCon (The good: Artist’s Alley and all the wonderful cosplay. The bad: slightly sparse attendance and a stupidly long line to pick up badges.)Then, since we couldn’t celebrate our 500th episode in Manhattan, we decided to spend the episode planning for it! Or at the very least come up with a list of possible things to do while we’re there: geeky stuff, artistic stuff, weird stuff, or the out and out touristy stuff.
