Bioactive Light, Our Light Environment & Simple Yet Impactful Biohacks

from The Energy Code · host Dr. Mike Belkowski

On this week's solosode of The Red Light Report, we are going to learn about light and its impact on health from a slightly different viewpoint. You man even consider it coming from a quantum perspective. But not to worry, there are many practical (and free!) takeaways that you can begin integrating into your daily routine as quickly as... now! (Cue: nasal breathing)   In the first part of the solosode, I will cover sunlight as a nutrient. This may seem blasé on the surface, but I will discuss in detail, the five bioactive forms of light and then make a legitimate argument that light nutrients are just as important, if not more important, than food nutrients. In the second part of the solosode, I will dive into the practical application side of things. A majority of these biohacks you will have likely heard of, yet you are in all likelihood not implementing them a consistent basis. I will go into detail about each of these "quantum hacks" and elucidate as to how and why it would be impactful for your mitochondrial health. The best part is that they are all simple and free to implement!   Enjoy the information and see what you notice just by implementing two or three of these simple hacks on a consistent basis. I am sure it will light up your health! - Dr. Mike Belkowski discusses the following: Sunlight as a nutrient The main bioactive spectra of light UV-B and how it creates free electrons UV-A Blue light Red light Infrared light - mid and far infrared vs near infrared Our light environment and how it’s as important as nutrition Fake food vs real food Small changes that can make a big impact Sunset, sunrise, and melatonin/cortisol levels Remineralizing water Nasal breathing vs mouth breathing Book recommendation: Breath - James Nester No food after sunset Screens, the light they emit, and their effects Blue light and how it increases addictiveness through dopamine Grounding in the earth and its anti-inflammatory effects Love and gratitude - Invest in BioLight:Our crowdfunding campaign on Republic is LIVE!
