TRUE HOUSE STORIES™ W/ BIRDEE # 033 - PART 2 By no means a newcomer - but a fresh face on the disco scene, Birdee has been extremely active in the last few years - releasing and remixing on labels such as Glitterbox, Big Love and Hot Sunday, dj’ing around the globe, and even picking up an award for best break- through dj at London’s Fabric. His music is supported by a veritable who's who of dance music: dj's as diverse as Groove Armada, Purple Disco Machine, Horse Meat Disco and Claptone have all been spinning his tracks, while radio support has also been outstanding - as a matter of fact, Pete Tong recently opened his show with Birdee’s breakout single Start The Weekend. Behind the decks, he is equally at ease playing a big festival stage as he is playing an intimate club: recent shows at Xoyo in London and Exchange in LA have been a testament to his ability to adapt to the crowd whilst never compromising his sound. After releasing debut album Then Came The Sun in 2019, a collaboration with legendary singer Barbara Tucker and a successful tour of Australia in 2020 - Birdee has started the year topping the Traxsource Nu Disco charts on two separate occasions.
