BIRP 133 - featured artist "Little" Jerry Williams aka Swamp Dogg

from Blue Island Radio Podcast

"Little" Jerry Williams is an American singer, musician, song writer, and record producer that started his career in 1954 when he was 12 years old. In 1970 he reinvented himself as Swamp Dogg and released (and continues to release) offbeat R&B albums that include Total Destruction to Your Mind, Rat On! and Love, Loss & Auto-Tune. He has been making records for nearly 70s years, has written more than 2,000 songs, helped develop the World Class Wreckin Cru which produced both Dr. Dre and DJ Yella, but is still known mostly as "one of the great cult figures of 20th century American music."
