Esau considered the loss of his birthright as inconsequential as long as he could possess the blessings of God. The birthright contains the blessings of God, but also requires commitment to the family legacy of what God is doing on the earth. We can sometimes experience a mistaken sense of freedom, as Esau did, when we seek to possess blessings without commitment and the power without accountability. How can we value and steward our birthright and the blessings of God in divine order in our generation?

He obtained ijazah in the Qur’an as well as studied under a number of well known scholars, such as Sh. Abdul Muhsin al-Abbad and Sh. Muhammad ibn Muhammad Mukhtar al-Shinqiti. Shaykh Ahsan also recently completed his PhD in Islamic Law from the University of Birmingham. Didaché Justin Peters Didaché is the Greek word for teaching or doctrine. All Christians profess to love Jesus but few seem to have a passion for doctrine and theology. The Didaché podcast is dedicated to teaching sound doctrine and theology for it is by this that our knowledge of God is deepened which, in turn, enables our love for God to be deepened. The Bible says, "And this I pray, that your love would abound still more and more in real knowledge and all discernment" (Philippians 1:9).This podcast will discuss doctrine, theology, hermeneutics, and how to apply all of these disciplines so that we can live lives obedient to God's word and for His glory. We will see how, far from being boring, there is nothing more exciting and practical for the Christian than to both know and apply sound doctrine.
