Bison Head to Philly for Palestra Showdown | Bucknell Bison Basketball News

Bucknell’s men’s basketball team is set for a historic Thanksgiving weekend in Philly, playing two high-stakes games at the legendary Palestra — first against La Salle on Nov. 27, then Penn the next night — as part of the 100th-anniversary Cathedral Classic. Coach John Griffin, a Philly native whose dad coached at Saint Joseph’s, sees this as a homecoming and a crucial test for his squad against two Big Five rivals. With Bucknell’s deep ties to the city and a passionate fanbase, expect a roaring crowd in one of college basketball’s most iconic arenas. The Bison’s full non-conference schedule for 2026-27 will be revealed soon. Listen in comfort:Get a discount on a Soli Pillow: http://solipillow.com/discount/dnn.
