Bite: Building a town from scratch

Just south of Auckland, a massive development is underway that could become home to 60,000 people. Kiwi Property CEO Clive Mackenzie explains the vision behind Drury — a 50-hectare mixed-use town centre designed to support Auckland’s southward growth. From securing anchor tenants like Costco and New World, to working with government on transport, infrastructure and community facilities, we unpack what it actually takes to build a town from the ground up.
