Bite-Size Edition: The One Where She Riffs About Self-Love

How is your relationship with yourself?

Do you love you? Do you like you? Do you believe you're whole and complete without someone else "completing you?"

I love Jerry Maguire. And I love that end scene - where Jerry tells Dorothy "you complete me." It's romantic AF. I get that.

But who are we without completing someone else, and/or who are we without someone else completing US?

Do you know who you are? Do you love yourself unconditionally? Why or why not?

I believe we should absolutely love ourselves because we are worthy of love. Loving ourselves is not about being arrogant or self-absorbed. When we love ourselves, we are choosing to love ourselves unconditionally - all the "good" stuff AND the "not-always-so-good-stuff." And you know an added benefit to that? Our relationships with others....some of those will shift when we make the decision to love ourselves first.

I hope you love you....just because you ARE.
